Help in Dartmouth during the cost of living crisis

This year people’s energy bills have soared and many people are finding it difficult to find the additional money needed to pay the bills.  The price of heating a home is expected to increase further in April, when the government’s energy price cap pledge comes to an end.

As we all face tougher economic times we decided to put together a list of places and resources where people can find help.

South Hams District Council have a Household Support Fund which you can apply for, if you are in hardship or an emergency, this includes struggling to pay bills or afford food.

Find out more about the Household Support Fund as well as other support from South Hams District Council’s dedicated Cost of Living page on their website https://www.southhams.gov.uk/cost-of-living-help
