FAVOURITE PLACE IN DARTMOUTH?

Being a local there is so many to choose from! If I had a place of choice it would have to be sitting on the embankment in the sun watching our little world go by.

TOP TIPPLE?

I’m a simple man with simple tastes, and I enjoy a nice chilled bottle of Crabbies Alcoholic Ginger Beer on my weekend off as a end of week treat.

MOST TREASURED POSSESSION?

My friends, I treasure each and every one of them. Friendship and the trust that goes with it is a wonderful thing and should be cherished and never abused.

BEST BOOK?

I love a good book and could lose myself in one for hours. I have a shelf full of best books and I couldn’t possibly list them all!

MUST-SEE MOVIE?

Should really read “Must see without me movie” I’m a military reenactor and living history buff and do events in the summer season. The downside to this is I can’t help but pick fault with every wartime period movie that is released! However, I do enjoy any action and adventure movie too. I have very eclectic tastes!

ADVICE YOU WOULD GIVE YOUR 18-YEAR-OLD SELF?

Don’t let others destroy your dreams. It happened, and it hurt, but I think I am a better person for the experience. I have often encouraged others not to make that same mistake.

HOW DID YOU END UP IN DARTMOUTH?

BEST THING ABOUT LIVING IN DARTMOUTH?

The community, very close-knit and supportive of each other in many ways. The past 12 months has shown that community spirit beautifully.

WHAT ANNOYS YOU MOST?

Gossip! In a town like this, it spreads like a Bush fire, and in some cases, it can be malicious and it can do a lot of harm in a community like this.

WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY?

Hanging out with friends, reading, walking, helping people out, attending living history events, visiting different places, spending time with my niece.
