Péntanque courts on Coronation Park

Dartmouth Town Council have created two pétanque pitches behind the tennis courts in Coronation Park.

The Mayor of Dartmouth (who was behind the creation of these pitches) tried out his new boules this week.

The Mayor of Dartmouth, Cllr David Wells said “this is a great initiative for Dartmouth and we really hope that lots of people will get involved and have fun playing with their friends and family, you could  even form a pétanque group and play against others in a league.  We’ve placed two picnic benches near to the courts so that families and friends can spend time down there enjoying the newly created area behind the tennis courts.”
