Dartmouth United Charities are looking for a new Trustee to sit on their board
Dartmouth United Charities is a small but growing almshouse and grant giving charity, supporting residents and organisations in Dartmouth, Devon.
Their almshouses provide low cost homes for local people in financial need. They also give out up to £100,000 of grants annually to individuals in hardship, need and distress and to local organisations who support them.
Whether you are an experience Trustee or wanting take take your first board position, they want to hear from you. All you need is a local knowledge of Dartmouth community, a commitment to their aims and the ability to use email.
As a Trustee you will get:
- Induction, training and reimbursable expenses
- Opportunities to make strategic decisions and develop new skills
- Influence to shape innovative housing provision
- The chance to improve the wellbeing of local people
The expected time commitment is 4-6 Trustee meetings per year held in Dartmouth.
