Dartmouth Caring lunch Clubs offer the chance to gather over a freshly cooked meal with old friends and new.
A main course, dessert and cup of tea costs £5.00
Anyone is welcome to join and you can come whenever you want.
The Memory Cafés are a friendly and informal meeting place for people with memory problems and their families, where you can gain support, information and advice from volunteers and health professionals. We run three now: Memory Cafe; Musical Memory Cafe and Creative Memory Cafe.
Visually Impaired Group
Visually Impaired Reading Group is a group that has been started to enable those with visual impairments to be able to still enjoy reading books. There are large prints and audio books available and Dartmouth Library have other aids to help with reading. After reading the books the group can then have a discussion about what they have just read.
Free confidential counselling to any individual that may need it. Dartmouth Caring has fully trained counsellors that are here to offer a safe and confidential environment. Morning sessions are held Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at Dartmouth Clinic.
Our Bridge Worker is employed as a joint appointment between Dartmouth Caring and the NHS. The Bridge Worker, Lauren, helps to reduce the time spent in hospital by vulnerable adults and to signpost needs ensuring the right care is provided quickly and efficiently in the community.
